Canberra Trip!

Introduction

Welcome to the Blogspot of the 2013 Southern Hills Christian College and Carnarvon Christian School Canberra Trip! The purpose of this trip is for Year 7's to experience and learn about our capital Canberra and the Federal Government, Australian history, and its achievements as a nation.  The majority of the trip will be in and around Canberra, however we will be spending one day in the Snowy Mountains experiencing the snow. 

Some of the sights that we plan to visit are:

National Museum                          Parliament House Old and New       CSIRO Discovery Centre
Canberra Zoo  & Aquarium        War Memorial                                         Canberra Deep Space
Australian Institute of Sport       Questacon                                    Royal Australian Mint
Perisher Blue Snow Fields       Government House                         



Remember the Blogspot will be updated every evening where possible.
